Notes from a Fellow Traveler…To Those Who are Tired

To Those Who are Tired:

You don’t have to prove yourself.

You don’t have to do more to count.

You don’t have to say “yes” to every ask.

You have the right and sometimes the need to say “no”.

You can rest.

You can take a break from your endless lists. 

You can pause… And you can put the world on pause if that’s what you need.

The world will spin on and spin out, even when you are not standing.

Let someone else stand in your place for just a time. 

Rest and rejoin, refreshed.
